2024 – ROAD infrastructure
Route 8 Lane Duplication Section between Routes 101 and 9
Detailed engineering design for the 35 km duplication of Route 8, including traffic analysis for pavement design based on axle load data from weigh stations and historical traffic growth, geometric design, intersection design, drainage and earthworks calculation.

2025 – ROAD infrastructure
Route 8 / Route 9 Interchange
Design of a grade-separated interchange at the junction of Routes 8 and 9, replacing the existing roundabout. The design incorporates safe pedestrian underpasses in the surrounding area. (Currently under construction.)

2015 – TRAFFIC STUDY
Traffic Impact Assessment – UDELAR University Building
Traffic impact assessment for a new university building on the UDELAR campus (Hospital de Clínicas, CUDIM, School of Dentistry). The study included simultaneous classified counts at all campus intersections and a microsimulation model of Avda. Italia and Avda. Centenario, reporting level-of-service indicators for multiple time periods.

2019 – PORT INFRASTRUCTURE
Reefer Container Yard – Port of Montevideo
Design of a reefer container yard at the Port of Montevideo for RTG (Rubber Tyred Gantry) crane operation. The pavement was designed using roller-compacted concrete (RCC).

2015 – TRAFFIC STUDY
Traffic Impact Assessment – Antel Arena and Parking Design
Traffic impact assessment for the Antel Arena project, analysing demand scenarios for basketball games, concerts and events. Parking design based on estimated demand, including waiting and drop-off areas for buses and taxis.

2016 – ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE – EARTHWORKS
Roads and Earthworks – UPPL Punta Rieles Prison
Design of external and internal road infrastructure for the new prison facility at Punta Rieles. Earthworks calculation for site preparation. Technical recommendations for perimeter security.

Route 101 – Lane Duplication, Section between Routes 102 and 8
Detailed engineering design for the lane duplication of Route 101 between Routes 102 and 8. Pavement structure design, geometric design, earthworks and tie-ins. Drainage design aimed at minimising aquaplaning risk.

Pando Bypass
Original design of the Pando bypass, with analysis of multiple alignment alternatives. The project includes a new bridge over the Frasquito stream.

Pando Bypass – Lane Duplication
Design of the lane duplication of the Pando bypass, including remodelling of the 3 existing roundabouts.

Route 55 – Access to Montes del Plata Pulp Mill, Conchillas
Design of the 12 km extension of Route 55 to the Montes del Plata pulp mill in Conchillas, Colonia, including a viaduct at the junction with Route 21. Concrete pavement. Construction supervision assistance. Periodic condition surveys in accordance with MTOP guidelines through final acceptance (7-year maintenance period).

Montes del Plata Pulp Mill – Conchillas
Earthworks design (4,000,000 m³), perimeter road, platform grading and drainage system prior to plant construction, access control, pavement design for ocean pier and barge terminal. Construction supervision assistance. Analysis of the impact of log transport routes to the mill and log storage yards.

Gertil Logistics Site – Camino al Bajo de la Petisa
Master plan for the site, detailed design for a 15,000 m² logistics warehouse (two units), pavement design and construction supervision.

Route 5 Lane Duplication – Preliminary Design (Km 69 to 112)
Geometric preliminary design, pavement structure assessment and drafting of technical specifications.

Traffic Impact Assessments, Pavement Rehabilitation and Parking Design – Grupo Disco / Devoto / Geant
Traffic impact assessments for existing and new stores and logistics depots, pavement condition assessment and rehabilitation recommendations, parking and truck marshalling area design, construction supervision.

Lane Duplication – Avda. Dr. Luis Alberto de Herrera (26 de Marzo to Ramón Anador)
Detailed design for the lane duplication of Avda. Dr. Luis Alberto de Herrera between 26 de Marzo and Ramón Anador streets. Construction supervision jointly with the Montevideo Municipal Authority

Bonavita Street Duplication and Sabat Pebet Street Extension
Design of the Sabat Pebet Street extension to Bonavita Street. The existing pedestrian underpass was removed and an access ramp was constructed to address the level difference. Granite sett pavement.

Traffic Impact Assessments and Access Design – El Dorado Supermarkets
Technical assistance to El Dorado Supermarkets for the installation and approval of new stores in Montevideo and Canelones. Traffic impact assessments, land-use feasibility studies, building permit applications and commercial premises licensing

Traffic Impact Assessments – Frog Mini and Maxi Markets
Traffic impact assessments for the installation of multiple Frog market locations in Montevideo and Canelones.

Semi-pedestrianisation of Colón and Rincón Streets – Ciudad Vieja, Montevideo
Detailed engineering design based on the Montevideo Municipal Authority’s preliminary scheme for the transformation of Colón and Rincón streets. The new cross-section features a kerb-free surface with a vehicle lane delineated by bollards and a low-speed environment.

Los Eucaliptos Informal Settlement Regularisation – Maldonado
Within the framework of the MVOT / DINISU Plan Avanzar, in coordination with the Maldonado Municipal Authority, detailed engineering design for the road infrastructure of the Los Eucaliptos neighbourhood, formalising the existing road network and incorporating new streets.

Access Design Mariscala on Route 8
Modification of the Route 8 section at Mariscala to provide safe access from the highway. The proposed geometry was validated using vehicle swept-path software and the signing scheme was updated.

Traffic Study and Access Design – AVA La Caleta, Avda. de las Américas
Traffic analysis to assess the development’s impact on Avda. de las Américas and Avda. a la Playa. Design of improvements to the service road and inter-avenue connection, incorporating safe pedestrian circulation. (Currently under construction.)

Access Design – Olmos Industrial and Logistics Park
Redesign of access to Olmos Industrial Park for the installation of a weighbridge at the entrance, relocation ofaccess control, and paving of the area with dedicated truck and car waiting zones. Analysis of a new park entrance incorporating waiting areas and controlled access.

Offices and Warehouses – Moldes Ruibal, Cno. de los Horneros
Design of offices and warehouses for Moldes Ruibal: two warehouse buildings (phased construction) totalling 3,000 m² plus 300 m² of office space. Feasibility studies, urban and traffic impact assessments, site layout design, space distribution, vehicle swept-path analysis and site management.

Access and Internal Road Design – Zonamerica
Design of waiting and access areas for Zonamerica, truck swept-path review, weighing zones, geometric design of access roads to buildings, pavement structure design and technical specifications for procurement and construction.

Jacksonville Master Plan – Access and Internal Road Design
Assistance with the Jacksonville master plan development. Redesign of access from the roundabout at Routes 8 and 102, geometric and structural design of residential streets and connection to the perimeter collector ring road.
